Fishing a deep hole next to a bluff or sampling the Ozark's most colorful fish, long-ear sunfish (red perch) on flyrod. You can also get out and wade to fish a good looking spot beside a shallow shoal.
Smallmouth are the king of the river. A happy fisherman with his biggest smalley up to then, a 16 incher.
